Iv only recently started watching this show and im just about to watch the last episode of season 1 ... Im officialy HOOKED its not like any other Vampire tv show .. its really interesting and every episode ends with a cliffhanger making you want more and more ha ..... looking forward to watching the next few seasons :)

Its so funny that at first i was reluctant to watch this, and them once i saw the first episode i was hooked. And the reason that i kind of stayed away from this tv series is that i thought "oh another vampire themed film/tv show, how annoying". But this is really much more complex, interesting, and not to mention, bizarre! This is the most bizarre show ive ever seen in my life. maybe its less weird and disturbing now, but the season with the woman who made everyone go crazy and have sex was really weird (but in a good way) So if you are wondering weather to watch this or not, definitely do! this is not another boring and cheesy vampire story.

I have 2 negatives about this show :O which I hate to admit but...Number 1. It strays to far away from the "Southern Vampire Mysteries" novels by Charlaine Harris. And number 2! The sex scenes between Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Sookie (Anna Paquin) really creep me out because they actually are a married :O Slightly off putting...even if they're not doing anything it is slightly giving the viewer an insight into their bedroom :/ Other than that I absolutely love the series! :D ^_^

the vampire diaries is way better cuz this show mostly has a whole lotta sex but when you get to the plot its ....... sorta good. my all time favorite show will be Buffy the Vampire Slayer

@OG-Kush-lover. I didn't mean to imply that you would go to Amsterdam for the Red Light Destrict, I just know that a lot of tourist do. If you want cannibus, you will have to look for a coffeeshop. (I think they also sell coffee there, but mainly soft drugs). Haha, thx for the compliment about my painting. I worked really hard on it.

We all ride bikes for our transportation. In the Netherlands everthing is near you, and we don't really have mountains so riding a bike is easy. I cycle to school every day, but it's only ten minutes. Today it rained, and I agree with you that cycling through rain sucks. Sometimes I wish I had a car, but here you have to be 18 to drive an getting your license is expensive. -
I really love Amsterdam too, I've been there a couple of times and it definately is a beautiful city.

Hey Gianna you should read this book "Calibus" by Matra Fusuy. It's on bn.com and it's a really beautiful vampire story that part of it takes place in Amsterdam. I think you might enjoy it.
Og Kush you should check it out too I think you might like it because it talks about cannabis as it relates to vampires.

My pic is my painting XD It's not true that all dutch and german girls are blond, but there are definetly more blond girls here then in southern europe... (Italy, france and spain etc.) And a lot of people here ar not hot!!! (I'm not a good judge on the girls here thought, I'm a girl myself.) You should visit Amsterdam, (not because of the red light destrict and the drugs because that's just a small part of the town.)It's just a beautiful city. And we have more water then Venice, but we all ride on bicycles. :)

you should care about European country's, because most american families will find there origins back in Europe. Maybe your great great great (or something like that) grand father was born in the Netherlands. XD Oh and maybe it's time for a new america?? Times change, you know. Nothing wrong with that.

@OG-Kush-lover, WTF, don't act like all dutch people are the same. I'm dutch and I'm perfectly capable of understanding (almost) every word in the show. BTW, nothing wrong with an accent, I agree people (in general, not just dutch people) shouldn't complain. If you don't like an accent, stop watching. No one is forcing you. Oh and, OG-Kush-lover, I do give a fuck about my own country. At least we don't nag about the health insurance policy in our country. We take care of each other, and I'm afraid that it's not possible to say something like that about people in most country's.

Sooki would be better off with eric, I loved bill in season 1 and 2 but after all the lies were revealed, I hated his dead guts so much -_-'. Cant believe that he tricked sooki into falling for him, I know it was genuine between them and all but what a jackass for manipulating her that way >.< hate him. Eric on the other hand is funny, strong, daring, actually interesting, and he seems damaged. I love guys who are damaged, I guess I like a challange. And if they are bad or mean even better ;) I bet they would make one hell of a hot couple :D
